Between flying the cub and training for my CFI in the 180 my fuel bill has not been pretty. I figure I am about 4 weeks out from my CFI check ride. The cub flying has been nothing short of fun. I am amazed daily as to the performance of this bird. It feels very helicopter like on slow approaches. Needed to post here as its been awhile. Went out to Austin for Pops Dory&#8217;s fly in and landed quite a few spots up over 10,000&#8242;.
